Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze and interpret meteorological data from weather maps, radar, and satellite imagery to produce accurate forecasts.
• Communicate complex weather findings in a clear, concise manner for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Monitor evolving weather systems and issue timely alerts regarding severe or unusual conditions.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and improve forecasting models and methodologies.
• Create detailed written reports and presentations on weather events and trends.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in meteorological science and technology.
• Support the customer’s team with expert advice for decision-making in weather-sensitive activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

• In-depth knowledge of weather systems and atmospheric processes.
• Proven experience interpreting weather maps, radar, and satellite data.
