**Job Summary: **

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to own our general ledger and month-end close processes. You will be part of our financial reporting function — ensuring books are accurate, close timelines are met, and the integrity of our financial data supports confident decision-making at every level of the organization.

**Key Responsibilities: **

• Own the end-to-end month-end close process, including preparation and posting of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure all accounts are substantiated and documented
• Support external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and reconciliations
• Identify and implement improvements to the close process to reduce cycle time and increase accuracy
• Partner with leadership to ensure financial data is audit-ready and decision-ready at all times
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls around the close and reporting cycle

R**equired Skills and Qualifications: **

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CA preferred
• 3-5 years of accounting experience with a clear focus on G/L and month-end close
• Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting system
• Strong command of Google Sheets and Excel
• Deep knowledge of GAAP, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage tight close deadlines without sacrificing accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, fast-paced startup environment

**Preferred Qualifications: **

• CPA license, or progress toward professional certification
• Exposure to AI tools or automated accounting workflows

Compensation & Benefits Notice

The national pay range for this full-time position is base salary of $90,000 –$120,000 USD.
