micro1 is engaging Sherpa Language Experts to participate in a dynamic project for a valued customer. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

• Transcribe video content in the Sherpa language with precise alignment to timestamps for enhanced data accuracy.
• Analyze and describe the emotionality of speakers, capturing nuances in tone and intent for improved AI interpretability.
• Edit, review, and refine transcription outputs to ensure linguistic and grammatical accuracy at an expert level.
• Investigate and define the conceptual meaning of Sherpa terms and expressions, offering deep linguistic insights.
• Assess and document grammar, vocabulary usage, and syntactic structures within the provided content.
• Perform complex language tasks such as contextual translation, semantic evaluation, and tone analysis.
• Contribute at least 15 hours per week in delivering high-quality language data and analysis for the project.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in both Sherpa and English, with demonstrated proficiency in written and spoken communication for both languages.
• Experience in transcription, translation, or linguistic analysis, especially with video or audio content.
• Skilled in capturing and articulating emotional context, speaker intent, and cultural nuances.
• Background in language research, editing, or advanced linguistic studies is highly desirable.
• Ability to critically assess grammar, tone, and conceptual aspects of language use.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, nuanced work.
• Self-motivated and comfortable engaging independently on remote assignments.
