micro1 is engaging Litigation Attorneys (Commercial contract) to contribute directly to an advanced AI evaluation project simulating multi-turn commercial disputes. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work
- Produce litigation work product for complex commercial contract disputes, including drafting motions, briefs, demand letters, and discovery documents following detailed scenario prompts.
- Respond to opposing counsel's simulated moves, sustaining a coherent case theory and strategic posture throughout multi-turn engagements.
- Develop and articulate rubric items for each draft, specifying benchmarks for strong, persuasive legal responses in line with U.S. commercial litigation standards.
- Incorporate feedback from senior direction each engagement turn, iterating your drafts to reflect evolving strategies and facts.
- Identify and clearly flag procedural questions, missing information, or factual ambiguities for further direction by project leads.
- Operate exclusively from public or synthetic case material, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and ethical obligations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active or lapsed license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- At least 3 years of substantive post-JD litigation practice focused on commercial contract disputes, with hands-on drafting experience in motions, discovery, and related pleadings.
- Proven ability to draft litigation documents under supervision, with minimal need for repeated direction.
- Experience with commercial contract litigation, especially with disputes concerning contract breach, performance, interpretation, or damages.
- Exceptional written English, demonstrating mastery of legal drafting and litigation register.
- Experience working in law firm environments (BigLaw, boutique, or mid-market) is a plus.
- Background in handling cases in federal court and/or previous participation in AI-related training or evaluation initiatives is advantageous.
